#Terminal complex of multimodal transport
According to the overall traffic planning for the comprehensive transportation hub of Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport (Revised), Terminal T3 will introduce "two high-speed railways and two intercity" - Guanghe high-speed railway, Guangzhou China Zhuhai Macao high-speed railway, the north extension section of metro line 22 (Fangcun to Baiyun Airport intercity) and Guangzhou Dongguan Shenzhen intercity, combined with the existing north extension of Metro Line 3 in terminals T1 and T2.
It will reach Guangzhou railway station or Guangzhou Baiyun station (Tangxi station) within 20 minutes from Baiyun Airport and the old urban area and Tianhe central area through expressway within 30 minutes.
At the same time, it connects the Pearl River Delta Urban Agglomeration and the Great Bay area of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao to further enhance the competitiveness of Guangzhou international aviation hub.
With the completion and operation of phase III expansion, Baiyun Airport will finally realize the planning pattern of five runways and two terminal areas. Baiyun Airport connects the first and second terminal areas through underground service lane, APM tunnel and high-speed trolley luggage tunnel, so as to realize the functional integration, interconnection and resource sharing of the two terminal areas.
Around the airport, the terminal is closely connected through Guangzhou Dongguan Shenzhen intercity and the north extension of metro line 22 (Fangcun Baiyun Airport Intercity Railway).

Highlight the functions of multiple stands and high efficiency
T3 terminal is designed to highlight the functions of multiple parking spaces and high efficiency. In terms of the shape of the terminal, the East and West wings are narrowed, and the combination advantages of H-type and X-type make the T3 terminal more like a "small waist" on the ground.
The East-West corridor of T3 terminal is designed as the front row type. There are two parallel taxiways and one apron taxiway on the airside. Three apron taxiways are set in Dagang Bay in the middle, so as to realize the independent operation of more aircraft stands at the same time and achieve the highest airside operation efficiency.
The design of "small Manyao" is conducive to shortening the average walking distance of passengers from the central area of T3 terminal to the four corridor boarding gates and transfer processes, which not only meets the needs of passengers for fast boarding, improves the comfort of passengers waiting for boarding, but also realizes more seats to operate independently at the same time, so as to achieve the purpose of optimal airside operation efficiency.
